Associate — Corporate (M&A & Private Equity)

International corporate team seeks an associate to join its M&A and private equity practice across German offices. The role offers regular exposure to cross-border and domestic buy- and sell-side transactions, private equity investments, and related corporate work within industry-focused deal teams.

Successful candidates will work on all phases of transactions, including drafting and negotiating transaction documents, conducting due diligence, and coordinating with financing, tax and regulatory specialists. The group handles matters that involve antitrust, corporate governance, capital markets and related advisory topics.

• 2–5 years' post-qualification transactional experience at a major commercial law firm, with M&A and/or private equity focus
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills on purchase agreements, shareholders' agreements and ancillary documents
• Comfort working on cross-border matters and coordinating with multi-jurisdictional teams
• Fluent German and English; admission or ability to work in Germany
