We are seeking an IP-focused associate to join a major global practice in Frankfurt. The team handles high‑stakes patent, trademark and trade‑secret disputes, as well as technology and IT work that supports corporate transactions and strategic licensing.

The role combines contentious and advisory work: you will contribute to patent litigation matters and cross‑border IP disputes, and assist with software/IT contracts, licensing, and IP aspects of M&A and carve‑outs. Work includes novel technology topics such as AI, data packages, blockchain and related commercial arrangements.

This is a hands‑on role for a commercially minded litigator who enjoys working on complex, precedent‑setting matters for international clients.

Minimum of 3 years' post‑qualification experience with a focus on IP/patent litigation.
Proven experience on patent disputes and related IP litigation matters; exposure to technology/IT agreements and licensing preferred.
Strong drafting and advocacy skills in English; German language proficiency for Frankfurt‑based work expected.
Ability to work on cross‑border matters and collaborate with international teams.
