Apply in confidence →We are seeking a junior associate to join a busy banking litigation team in Madrid. The role will involve advising on lender/borrower disputes, enforcement actions and related contentious matters across Spanish and cross-border matters.
The successful candidate will work on courtroom and transactional-contested matters, prepare pleadings and evidence, liaise with external counsel and support senior lawyers on litigation strategy. This is a hands-on role with exposure to complex banking disputes.
- 0-2 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in banking litigation or related disputes
- Demonstrable experience with litigation drafting and court procedure in Spain
- Spanish-qualified lawyer or equivalent local qualification
- Strong written and spoken English
- Excellent research, drafting and advocacy support skills
