National law firm seeks a litigation associate to join its Financial Services & Capital Markets group. This is a multi-office search (including a virtual option); candidates licensed and residing in California, Texas, Florida, or Ohio are strongly preferred.

The role focuses on defending financial services clients in state and federal courts, handling consumer‑finance disputes under statutes such as the FCRA, FDCPA and RESPA, and litigating contested foreclosures, quiet title actions, title disputes, and related claims. You will collaborate with team attorneys across offices and support client defense matters from motion practice through trial as needed.

Candidates must be able to manage multiple matters, communicate legal strategies clearly, and demonstrate strong judgment and professionalism. Bar admission in the state of practice (or a commitment to obtain admission promptly) is required.

  • 3–5 years' relevant litigation experience in consumer finance or financial services litigation
  • Experience defending matters in state and federal courts
  • Working knowledge of FCRA, FDCPA, RESPA and other consumer protection statutes
  • Experience with mortgage servicers/originators and contested foreclosure, quiet title, or title dispute litigation preferred
  • Active state bar license in the office jurisdiction or commitment to obtain admission; candidates in a virtual role must be licensed in their state of residence
  • Strong academic credentials, excellent interpersonal and written advocacy skills, and ability to manage competing priorities
