Senior in-house legal and compliance role for a leading international law firm’s Colombia office. The post holder will lead the local legal and compliance function, advising on corporate, regulatory, contractual, labor and litigation matters, and acting as the primary compliance interlocutor for regional and global teams.

Key responsibilities include maintaining and updating compliance policies, designing and implementing SARLAFT and PTEE frameworks, overseeing KYC and conflicts-of-interest processes, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, and delivering compliance training across the organisation.

The role requires autonomy, strong leadership, and the ability to operate at senior stakeholder level in a fast-paced, high‑expectation professional environment.

Law degree with valid Colombian professional licence.
Minimum 10 years' post‑qualification legal experience with significant compliance exposure.
Knowledge and experience with SARLAFT, PTEE and anti‑money‑laundering / counter‑terrorist financing prevention.
Experience in corporate, corporate‑governance and regulatory matters; in‑house experience and team leadership strongly preferred.
Advanced spoken and written English.
Ability to design and deliver compliance training and to interface with regulators and global legal/compliance teams.
