Senior litigation role in a national labor & employment practice based in Nashville. The position focuses on defending employers in a wide range of employment disputes, including discrimination, retaliation, wage-and-hour, non-compete and other workplace claims, as well as agency charges and class/collective actions.

Responsibilities include managing and running complex litigation matters in a first-chair capacity, representing employers in court, arbitration and administrative proceedings, providing counseling and training to clients, and supervising junior lawyers and support staff.

JD from an accredited law school
9+ years of employment litigation experience with significant first-chair trial/arbitration experience
Active Tennessee bar admission in good standing
Experience supervising associates and paralegals
Familiarity with federal and state administrative procedures; class/collective action experience preferred
Excellent written and oral communication, strong organization and project-management skills, and ability to handle a fast-paced docket
