We are seeking a First Year Associate to join a busy Corporate / M&A team in Frankfurt. The role places you on deal teams from day one, working on national and cross‑border M&A and private equity transactions alongside experienced colleagues.

The team advises strategic buyers, private equity investors and corporates on buyouts, add‑ons, exits, carve‑outs, joint ventures and related corporate matters. You will be involved in deal structuring, documentation, negotiation and execution, with regular collaboration across international offices.

Fully qualified lawyer (both state examinations) with above‑average results
Strong interest in corporate/M&A and commercial awareness
Ideally first exposure to transactional work (e.g. Referendariat, wissenschaftliche Mitarbeit or similar)
International experience (LL.M., semester abroad or work abroad) advantageous
Excellent written and spoken English; teamwork, initiative and commercial mindset
