Short-term opportunity for a commercially minded technology lawyer to support high-profile technology and AI projects across the UAE. Assignments are typically client-facing, full‑time engagements of around six months, with some flexibility on working arrangements.

The role will involve drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of technology agreements (SaaS, cloud, software licences, outsourcing and procurement), advising on UAE and free‑zone data protection regimes, and providing commercial legal input on IP and emerging technologies such as AI, blockchain and digital assets.

Qualified lawyer with 5–10 years post‑qualification experience in technology/commercial law
Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex technology agreements (SaaS, cloud, licences, outsourcing)
Practical knowledge of UAE law and relevant free‑zone regimes (DIFC, ADGM) on data protection and commercial contracts
Experience advising on IP and legal risks for emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, fintech, digital assets)
Strong commercial judgment, client-facing experience and ability to work on fixed-term engagements
