Lateral Associate, Corporate (Financial Services)

Top-tier U.S. corporate practice is seeking lateral associates to join its Financial Services group. The role is open to candidates based in New York or Washington, D.C., and will involve representation of banks, financial institutions and other market participants on financing, banking and securities-related matters.

Successful candidates will work on complex transactional and regulatory matters alongside established deal teams, with exposure to cross-border and domestic financings, credit facilities and related securities work.

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to a U.S. bar (or eligibility).
• Prior transactional experience in finance, banking or securities (private or law firm experience).
• Strong drafting and analytical skills; experience with credit agreements, security documents, and related transactional documentation preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively on fast-paced deal teams and manage client-facing responsibilities.
