Lawyer / Associate — General Insurance, Brisbane

Join a national General Insurance team based in Brisbane handling contested insurer matters and high-quantum property and construction recoveries. The role involves managing your own files with partner supervision, insuring matters progress through court and engaging with insurer clients.

The team works on a broad range of first-party insurance and indemnity disputes, property-damage defence claims and related subrogation matters. The firm offers hybrid working, WFH equipment support, structured learning and clear career progression.

• Minimum 3 years post-admission experience in general insurance law
• Experience in property/construction recoveries and insurer-side defence work
• Proven ability to manage files and run matters through court proceedings
• Strong drafting, analytical and client-communication skills
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers or paralegals will be well regarded
