About the role
Join a leading German commercial law firm in Hanover, advising internationally active clients — particularly in the automotive and healthcare sectors — on product liability, product compliance, and commercial law. The role offers direct client contact and early responsibility from day one.

Your responsibilities

  • Advise clients on all aspects of product liability and product compliance, including legal questions relating to artificial intelligence and digitalisation
  • Support clients in commercial and distribution law, structuring sales channels and trade relationships lawfully
  • Represent clients in and out of court, independently conducting proceedings and enforcing rights — or defending against unjustified claims
  • Maintain direct contact with clients and take on mandates autonomously from the start
  • Work closely with an experienced commercial team and contribute actively to strategic projects

Your profile

  • Both state examinations completed with above-average results
  • Initial experience in commercial, distribution, or trade law — ideally from a legal clerkship or as a research assistant — or a strong interest in these areas
  • Confident English communication skills for working in an international client environment
  • Strong analytical skills, structured working style, and willingness to quickly master new topics such as AI regulation and product compliance
  • A team player who values professional exchange and collegial collaboration

What we offer

  • An attractive workplace with clear development prospects and transparent remuneration
  • An environment that fosters entrepreneurial thinking and supports individual career paths, with personal mentorship
  • Structured onboarding, early client contact, and excellent on-the-job training in a collegial, motivated team
  • Award-winning continuing education programmes through our own academy, including financial and time support for specialist lawyer qualifications
  • Early involvement in exciting mandates and strategic projects, with room for autonomy and active participation
  • Diverse work in the commercial practice area, tailored to your interests for ongoing professional growth
  • Access to modern legal tech tools and AI-based solutions, with the opportunity to help shape their further development
  • Flexible working arrangements to support work-life integration, including family services, parental leave support, mobility subsidies, corporate benefits, and a subsidised fitness offer
  • Both state examinations with above-average results
  • Initial experience in commercial, distribution, or trade law (e.g., from a legal clerkship or research assistant position) or a strong interest in these fields
  • Confident English skills
  • Strong analytical and structured working style
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
