Apply in confidence →Short-term consultancy roles for experienced construction lawyers to support major projects and infrastructure work across the UAE. Assignments are typically six months (full time) with opportunities for flexible working arrangements; roles are commonly based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai.
Work will be non-contentious and front-end focused: drafting and negotiating construction contracts (FIDIC and bespoke), O&M and facilities management agreements, and providing day-to-day construction law advice across power, transport, buildings and other infrastructure projects. Roles sit on a global consultancy platform backed by a major international law firm and include access to firm resources and support while working on client or firm-led assignments.
- 5–7 years' post-qualification experience in non-contentious construction and infrastructure law
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating FIDIC and bespoke construction contracts, and O&M/FM agreements
- Experience advising on matters involving contractors, subcontractors and design professionals
- Prior experience at a top-tier construction/projects practice; recent in-house experience in energy, transport or infrastructure is desirable
- Middle East experience and Arabic language skills preferred
- Consultancy mindset: flexible, self-directed and comfortable with fixed-term/contract work
- Valid practising certificate or equivalent permitting work in the region
