Short-term consultant roles advising on corporate governance, regulatory compliance and company secretarial matters across the United Arab Emirates. Assignments are typically six months full-time based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai, with some opportunities for flexible working arrangements.

Work will involve providing senior-level legal advice to financial and energy sector organisations, supporting governance frameworks, compliance programmes and board/secretarial processes. Roles suit candidates who want project-based, client-facing work while retaining access to a global firm's resources and professional development support.

  • Minimum 8 years' post-qualification legal experience
  • At least four years' experience at a top-tier law firm
  • Significant experience in corporate governance, regulatory compliance and company secretarial work
  • Experience advising financial services and/or energy sector clients preferred
  • Recent in-house experience and prior Middle East experience desirable
  • Fluency in Arabic preferred
  • Holding a practising certificate or equivalent entitlement to practise in the region
  • Consultant mindset: flexible, self-directed and able to manage engagements independently
