Opportunity for an experienced derivatives and structured finance lawyer to join a global firm's consultant platform, delivering six-month-plus advisory and transaction-focused assignments for banking and capital markets clients and internal practice groups.

Typical work includes advising on OTC derivatives and collateral documentation (ISDAs, CSAs, GMRAs, etc.), structured products and securitisation matters, deal-contingent hedging and finance-linked hedges, negotiating and preparing trade and distribution documentation, and supporting product governance, onboarding and automation initiatives.

Applicants must be able to work as self-directed consultants, take ownership of assignments, transition quickly into new environments and deliver high-quality legal and commercial advice. Note: this consulting arrangement does not include visa sponsorship; candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK.

Minimum 8 years' post-qualification experience in derivatives and structured finance.
At least 2 years' post-qualification experience at a top-tier law firm in derivatives/structured finance.
Preferably recent in-house or secondee experience at a leading financial services institution.
Proven transaction experience across OTC derivatives, structured products, securitisations and related hedging arrangements.
Strong project management, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Resilient, autonomous consultant mindset with excellent commercial awareness and client service ethos.
UK practising certificate (or equivalent) enabling practice in the UK; right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available).
