An international law firm is hiring a full-time Legal Counsel in Risk & Compliance to join its Germany compliance team. The role is open across multiple German offices (Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg or Düsseldorf) and starts from 1 July 2026.

You will work on a range of internal compliance matters for the professional practice, with a focus on professional conduct, anti-money‑laundering prevention and data protection. Day-to-day work includes legal research, drafting and reviewing contractual and policy documents, developing processes, and supporting colleague training and advisory requests.

Qualified lawyer (Studium der Rechtswissenschaften with two Staatsexamina)
Experience or strong interest in professional conduct, AML prevention and data protection/compliance
Structured, solutions‑focused working style with strong initiative and teamwork skills
Fluent German and English (written and spoken); confident with MS Office
