Major international law firm seeks a lateral partner to lead and grow its Antitrust & Competition practice in Brussels. The role focuses on high‑profile competition work for multinational clients, including advisory and contentious matters across EU and Belgian competition law.

The firm is looking for a senior hire with an established, portable practice who can originate and manage significant client relationships, mentor junior lawyers, and contribute to business development and strategy in the region. This is a visible role with leadership responsibilities within a top‑tier international practice.

Proven partner‑level experience in antitrust and competition law (EU and Belgian competition law experience preferred)
Track record of bringing and managing an established, portable client base
Strong business development and client relationship skills; recognised as a rainmaker
Demonstrable leadership and team‑management experience; ability to mentor and build a practice
Excellent written and oral advocacy and advisory skills in English; knowledge of local languages an advantage
