Apply in confidence →National law firm is seeking a renewable energy tax credit associate to join its Energy & Natural Resources tax practice. This is an opportunity to support developers and other industry clients on tax-credit driven renewable energy transactions across multiple U.S. offices, including virtual/remote arrangements.
Work will focus on counseling clients on renewable energy tax credits and real estate incentives, drafting and negotiating tax credit transfer agreements, and supporting related financings and M&A. The role requires strong commercial judgment, the ability to manage multiple matters, and effective communication of legal strategies to business stakeholders.

- 4–6 years of tax experience, with a focus on renewable energy tax credits and real estate incentives
- Experience drafting and negotiating tax credit transfer agreements and supporting related financings and M&A
- Experience advising developers or project sponsors in the renewable energy sector
- Active state bar license for the office applied to, or a commitment to obtain one promptly
- Strong academic credentials, superior interpersonal skills, and ability to manage multiple projects under pressure
