Restructuring & Special Situations Finance Associate, Denver

Top-tier restructuring team is seeking a finance associate to join its Business Restructuring & Reorganization practice in Denver. The role focuses on debtor- and creditor-side financings and complex special-situations matters arising in and out of chapter 11 cases.

Successful candidates will work on liability-management transactions, DIP financings, bankruptcy exit financings and other special situations financings for clients across the capital structure, including hedge funds, CLOs, private equity firms and other financial institutions.

• Law school class years 2019–2023
• Experience representing creditors or borrowers on liability-management transactions, DIP financings, bankruptcy exit financings and/or special-situations financings
• Comfortable working on chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings
• Strong academic record and excellent drafting and deal-management skills
