Top-tier firm seeking an associate to join a national Business Restructuring & Reorganization team in the Palo Alto office. The role focuses on special situations and capital-structure work across both in-court and out-of-court restructurings.

Work will include representing creditors and borrowers on liability management transactions, debtor-in-possession (DIP) financings, bankruptcy exit financings and other distressed-debt matters. Associates will work on high-profile, capital-structure representations for hedge funds, CLOs, private equity investors and other financial institutions.

Law school class years 2019–2023 (entry-level associate hiring window)
Substantial experience with Chapter 11 and out-of-court restructurings
Experience on DIP financings, exit financings, liability-management or distressed-debt transactions
Strong transactional drafting and analytical skills; excellent academic credentials
