An experienced funds lawyer opportunity to join a national financial services & funds practice based in Sydney. The role offers a mix of transactional and advisory work across property, infrastructure and other investment funds, covering wholesale and retail structures, fund management and capital raisings.

You will work on complex transactional matters, assist with ongoing fund operations and provide board-level commercial advice on regulatory and corporate issues (including Corporations Act, financial services licence matters and ASX considerations). The role is collaborative and connected to specialist teams across a national network.

The team serves a tier‑1 client base of domestic and international fund managers, institutional investors and real estate and infrastructure groups. The firm supports innovation, flexible working and professional development within a high-performing environment.

Minimum 7 years post-admission experience in a reputable law firm, professional services or in‑house setting with strong corporate/transactional background
Demonstrable funds experience (fund formation, fund management, wholesale and retail structures)
Deep technical knowledge of the Corporations Act, Australian financial services regulation and ASX rules
Proven track record of leading matters, managing senior client relationships and mentoring junior lawyers
Excellent drafting, commercial judgment and business development capability
