Apply in confidence →Join a major international law firm's New York office to work within a dedicated advertising and marketing practice. The role focuses on advising brands, agencies and platforms on advertising, promotions and related IP and privacy matters.
Day-to-day work includes counseling on regulatory compliance and claim substantiation, drafting and negotiating advertising-ecosystem agreements (agency-client creative and media-buying agreements, sponsorships/endorsements, influencer and promotional terms), and advising on trademark, copyright and right-of-publicity issues.
- 4–6 years' post-qualification experience in advertising/marketing law, trademarks, copyright and right of publicity matters
- Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating agency-client, media buying, sponsorship/endorsement, influencer and promotional agreements
- Advising on advertising compliance, claim substantiation and social media promotions
- Familiarity with emerging-technology and privacy considerations in advertising
- Active member of the New York bar
