Apply in confidence →Join a leading Dutch energy practice working on large-scale renewable projects and area development across the Netherlands. This role combines advisory, contracting and litigation work at the intersection of public and private law, including PPAs, transport and exploitation agreements, and public-private development arrangements.
You will advise public and private clients on implementation of EU and national energy regulation, translate regulatory change into practical client guidance, and help shape projects involving heat networks, solar, wind, hydrogen and BESS. The team places emphasis on knowledge-sharing, external profile building and practical use of legal technology, including AI tools.
- WO law degree with 4–10 years' post-qualification experience in energy law, area development, public-private law or related fields
- Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial and project contracts (e.g. PPAs, transport, exploitation, connection agreements) and/or advising on regulatory implementation
- Strong understanding of Dutch and EU energy regulation and ability to translate developments into client advice
- Fluent Dutch and professional English (written and spoken); excellent communication skills
- Curiosity about legal technology/AI and an entrepreneurial mindset with appetite to contribute to team growth and external visibility
