Growing litigation team in Los Angeles seeks an associate (1–6 years' experience) who will make AI integration central to their practice. The role emphasizes practical, demonstrable use of large language models and AI-assisted legal tools to drive innovation across litigation matters.

You will work on a range of fast-moving, complex disputes and are expected to deploy AI creatively and responsibly in tasks such as drafting pleadings and motions, preparing for depositions and hearings, managing discovery and document review, coordinating case teams, and supporting expert work. The position includes expectations for an active pro bono practice and collaborative teamwork.

Juris Doctor (JD) and 1–6 years of litigation experience.
Hands-on, daily proficiency with AI tools and large language models and familiarity with AI-assisted legal research and review platforms.
Technical curiosity and AI literacy — follows model developments and can assess capabilities and limits of new tools.
Sound judgment in supervising and verifying AI-generated work; understands risks such as confabulation and applies appropriate lawyer oversight.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong academic credentials.
Demonstrated commitment to pro bono representation and ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative teams.
Membership in the bar of the home office jurisdiction required.
