Growing litigation team in Washington, DC is seeking an associate (1–6 years' experience) to join a practice focused on integrating artificial intelligence into litigation workflows. The role emphasizes hands-on, creative use of AI across research, drafting, discovery, case management and courtroom preparation.

You will work on fast-moving, complex matters, deploying and developing AI-driven approaches to legal work, training teams, and helping shape how AI tools are used and governed in litigation practice. The group values technical curiosity, careful oversight of AI outputs, and a commitment to pro bono representation.

Juris Doctor (JD) and 1–6 years litigation experience.
Practical, daily experience using AI tools and large language models and familiarity with AI-assisted legal research and document-review platforms.
Technical curiosity and ability to assess model capabilities, limits, and benchmarks.
Sound judgment applying lawyer oversight to AI-generated output and identifying errors/confabulations.
Strong written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in fast-paced teams.
Strong academic credentials and membership in the home-office bar; commitment to pro bono work.
