Apply in confidence →Mid-level associate opportunity in a large, international law firm’s Washington office to join a busy Antitrust & Competition practice. The role focuses on transactional antitrust work, merger control, and counseling across agency reviews and investigations.
Work will include Hart-Scott-Rodino filings and coordinating merger investigations before enforcement agencies, with opportunities to assist on antitrust investigations, complex federal litigation, and client counseling. Candidates with experience in technology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or retail matters are especially welcome, though industry experience is not required.
The team seeks candidates who can manage multiple matters, draft and analyze complex legal work, and work both independently and collaboratively. Applicants must be licensed — or eligible for licensure — in the relevant jurisdiction and should be prepared to provide a cover letter, resume, and law school transcript.
- 3–6 years post-qualification experience in transactional antitrust (private practice or government), including HSR and merger review
- Experience with agency investigations (FTC/DOJ/state) and/or complex federal antitrust litigation preferred
- Strong research, writing, and analytic skills; excellent academic credentials
- Ability to manage multiple matters, work independently and as part of a team
- Licensed or eligible to be licensed to practice in the applicable jurisdiction; submit cover letter, resume, and law school transcript
