Apply in confidence →Highly regarded national antitrust & competition team seeks a 1st–4th year associate to join a busy litigation and investigations practice. The role involves defending and prosecuting complex civil antitrust matters, supporting government and internal investigations, and handling enforcement matters before agencies.
Candidates may be based in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, San Francisco or New York; the team is largely D.C.-based and candidates must be admitted or eligible for admission in the jurisdiction where they will sit. Typical responsibilities include discovery management, drafting pretrial motions, briefing, and courtroom representation in state and federal forums and before enforcement agencies.
Federal clerkship experience and a background in economics or related subjects are preferred. Applicants should be prepared to submit a cover letter, resume, law school transcript and a writing sample.
- 1–4 years of antitrust & competition litigation or investigations experience
- Experience with discovery, motion practice, and managing complex civil cases
- Familiarity with government enforcement processes (e.g., DOJ, FTC) and state/federal court proceedings
- Admission or eligibility to be admitted to the bar in the hiring jurisdiction
- Federal clerkship and/or economics background preferred; submit cover letter, resume, transcript and writing sample
