Top-tier litigation team in Washington, DC is seeking a mid-level appellate associate to join an expanding Appellate and Supreme Court Litigation practice. The role offers broad appellate exposure across state and federal courts, including work on certiorari, merits briefs, amicus briefs, and oral argument preparation.

Responsibilities include drafting dispositive and appellate briefs, advising trial teams on record preservation and issue development, preparing for and participating in oral argument, and contributing to pro bono matters. The position involves collaboration on complex matters for clients across sectors.

3–5 years of litigation experience with substantial appellate work preferred
At least one prior judicial clerkship (highest state court level or federal district/appellate level)
Membership in the Washington, DC bar
Exceptional academic record and superior written and oral communication skills
Detail-oriented, independent, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team
Strong commitment to pro bono representation
