Leading international antitrust team is hiring an Associate to join its German practice focused on competition law, merger control and foreign direct investment (FDI) matters. The role is available in the Frankfurt (or Hamburg) office and offers work on cross-border transactional clearances, parallel FDI/merger control processes, regulatory advisory and litigation/defense before national and European authorities.

Successful candidates will join an integrated, international practice and work in cross-office teams on high‑profile, complex matters. The team offers early responsibility, structured training and mentoring, flexible working arrangements and opportunities to participate in business development and firm initiatives.

Qualified in Germany (two state examinations) with strong academic results
Excellent English and strong German legal drafting/analysis skills
Interest and/or experience in merger control, FDI regimes and competition litigation
Analytical, commercial mindset and ability to work in international, cross‑disciplinary teams
