Join a global law firm’s Asset Management Transactions team as a mid‑level corporate associate based in Chicago. The team advises on the full spectrum of transactions for asset managers, investment funds and related financial services businesses, including GP‑stakes, buyouts, joint ventures, carve‑outs and other liquidity solutions.

The role will involve leading and supporting complex transactional matters across jurisdictions, drafting and negotiating transactional documentation, coordinating with regulatory and compliance specialists, and advising sponsors, management teams and institutional investors. The group offers exposure to large cross‑border matters and a collaborative, interdisciplinary platform.

Minimum of 4 years’ corporate transactional experience, with significant exposure to asset management/M&A matters.
Demonstrable experience on GP‑stakes, minority and control transactions, or other fund sponsor deals (continuation funds, secondary structures, carve‑outs).
Strong transactional drafting and negotiation skills and ability to partner with regulatory/compliance teams.
Ability to manage matters across US and international jurisdictions and work effectively in a deal team.
