Associate Attorney, Healthcare & Medical Malpractice — Phoenix

Seeking an associate to join a busy healthcare and medical malpractice practice in the Phoenix office of a large national law firm. The role focuses on defending healthcare providers in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings.

Typical matters include medical malpractice and professional-liability defense across a broad range of specialties. The position offers hands-on litigation responsibility, working on discovery, motions, and depositions within a collaborative team environment.

• Admission to practice in Arizona
• 2–5 years of litigation experience; medical malpractice or healthcare-defense experience preferred
• Experience drafting/responding to discovery and pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, and taking/defending depositions
• Strong legal writing, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced setting
• Self-starter who works effectively independently and as part of a team
