Apply in confidence →Top-tier New York office seeks an experienced bank regulatory associate to join a leading finance practice advising U.S. and non‑U.S. banks, bank holding companies, and affiliates on prudential regulatory matters.
Work includes counseling on capital and liquidity, governance and risk‑management frameworks, regulatory notices and applications, chartering/licensing matters, and transactional and affiliate issues. The role also involves responding to regulatory examinations, supervisory findings, and enforcement matters before federal and state banking regulators.
- Minimum 8 years of post‑qualification experience advising banks, bank holding companies, or financial institutions on prudential regulation
- Strong knowledge of the U.S. prudential framework and supervisory process (e.g., capital/liquidity, governance, risk management)
- Familiarity with relevant statutes and rules and related regulatory processes (examples include Bank Holding Company Act, National Bank Act, FDIC statutes, Volcker Rule, Regulation W/O/R/Y/K areas)
- Admitted to, or eligible for prompt admission to, the New York bar
- Excellent drafting and client‑facing skills; experience handling examinations and enforcement responses preferred
