Associate — Bankruptcy Litigation, Houston

Join a nationally recognized financial restructuring and insolvency practice in Houston as an associate focused on bankruptcy litigation. You will work on complex Chapter 11 and restructuring disputes, including adversary proceedings, plan confirmation, preference and fraudulent-transfer matters, and contested contested confirmation and DIP issues.

The role offers exposure to fast-paced, high-profile litigation alongside senior restructuring litigators. Typical responsibilities include trial preparation, discovery and depositions, drafting motions and briefs, legal research under the US Bankruptcy Code, and coordinating with colleagues on cross-border insolvency matters.

• 1–3 years' post-qualification experience (bankruptcy/financial restructuring or commercial litigation experience preferred)
• Demonstrable litigation experience — courtroom exposure, depositions, discovery and brief-writing
• Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills; solid academic credentials
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, work collaboratively, and communicate clearly with colleagues and clients
