Associate — Bankruptcy Litigation, Melbourne

Join a global financial restructuring and insolvency team in Melbourne focused on complex bankruptcy litigation and cross-border restructuring matters. You will work on contested Chapter 11 and insolvency disputes, supporting fast-paced litigation and plan confirmation proceedings.

The role offers day-to-day exposure to discovery, depositions, drafting of pleadings and briefs, courtroom preparation and coordination with overseas counsel on cross-border issues. You will work closely with senior lawyers on high-profile matters and contribute to litigation strategy, research and client communications.

• 1–3 years post-qualification experience, with a focus on bankruptcy/insolvency or commercial litigation
• Courtroom and discovery experience (depositions, document review, written discovery)
• Strong legal research, drafting and advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, work collaboratively on teams and learn quickly
