Associate, Business (Cleveland)

Growing Business practice in the Cleveland office seeks a collaborative, business-oriented associate to support corporate transactional matters. The role involves managing components of complex transactions and providing practical legal counsel to middle-market and corporate clients.

Work will span a broad range of corporate matters including entity formation and governance, mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and private placements. The team values clear written and verbal communication and the ability to work both independently and as part of deal teams.

• Minimum 3 years of corporate transactional experience (PQE 3+)
• Substantive experience with M&A, entity formation/governance, joint ventures, divestitures and private placements
• Strong academic credentials and excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage matter components independently and collaborate effectively on deal teams
