Associate, Capital Markets (Agency CMBS Securitizations) — New York

Leading national law firm seeking a Capital Markets associate to join its New York office on the agency CMBS securitizations team. The role focuses on drafting, reviewing and negotiating transaction documents for commercial mortgage loan securitizations and supporting complex closings.

Typical matters include work on pooling and servicing agreements, offering materials, mortgage loan purchase and certificate purchase agreements, placement agency agreements, legal opinions and related contracts. The team values strong attention to detail, clear communication, teamwork and ownership of assignments.

• 3–6 years’ experience in capital markets securitization work, preferably with agency CMBS transactions
• Experience drafting and negotiating PSAs, offering documents, purchase agreements and related securitization documents
• Proven ability to manage complex closing processes and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
• Excellent written and oral communication, strong attention to detail, and collaborative work style
