Associate — Capital Markets & Public Companies (Silicon Valley)

Mid-senior level capital markets associate role within a national corporate practice serving technology and life sciences companies at all stages, based in the Silicon Valley area with flexibility across other U.S. offices.

The role focuses on SEC compliance, public company disclosure and governance, and representation of issuers or underwriters in capital markets transactions including IPOs, SPACs, direct listings and follow-on offerings. The team advises both emerging growth and mature public companies.

The firm offers hybrid working arrangements and a comprehensive benefits program; compensation is competitive for the market and includes eligibility for discretionary bonus awards.

• 4–6 years of relevant capital markets or public company experience (advising public companies or investment banks)
• Experience with SEC compliance, disclosure, governance and exchange matters
• Transaction experience: IPOs, SPACs, direct listings and/or follow-on offerings
• Bar admission in the office state or eligibility to sit/waive into that bar
• Superior academic credentials and excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills; affinity for technology and/or life sciences clients preferred
