International-capital-markets team is seeking a motivated Associate to join its Beijing office to work on Greater China equity and debt transactions. The role involves active participation on IPOs, follow-on offerings and debt issuances across Mainland China and Hong Kong.

Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and negotiating offering documentation and disclosure materials, managing due diligence and liaising with regulatory bodies and stock exchanges. The role requires close collaboration with colleagues across practices and jurisdictions to support seamless deal execution.

Qualified lawyer with approximately 1 year PQE in capital markets work (law firm or financial institution experience preferred).
Strong academic background and proven track record on ECM/DCM transactions (IPOs, follow-ons, and debt issuances).
Excellent drafting, negotiation and transaction-management skills; ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent English and Mandarin required; strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
