Leading international law firm in Amsterdam is seeking an associate to join a growing cassation/appellate practice. The role offers substantive responsibility on complex Dutch cassatieproceedings across corporate, financial and competition law matters, working at the interface of facts and law.

You will appear before the Hoge Raad and support cases in lower courts, draft pleadings and strategic submissions, conduct deep legal and factual research, and contribute to the development and profile of the cassation team. The position includes coaching junior lawyers and opportunities to publish legal analyses.

Minimum four years' post-qualification experience as a Dutch advocaat, with demonstrable cassatie/appellate experience
Strong analytical and legal-research skills; meticulous Dutch drafting and good written English
Ability to prepare process strategies, draft high-quality pleadings and manage complex files
Team player with coaching experience, commercial awareness and the ability to perform under pressure
