Associate — Catastrophic Injury & Large Loss (Manchester or Birmingham)

Join a national catastrophic injury and large-loss team handling liability, coverage and quantum work across high-value multi-track personal injury matters. The role supports a mix of motor, employers' liability/ public liability and indemnity claims, working closely with senior lawyers and the wider casualty group.

The post will be based in Manchester or Birmingham and will assist on large-loss files, with opportunities to develop client contact, take responsibility for elements of cases and, as relationships grow, lead lower-value large-loss matters.

This is a role for a commercially minded litigator used to working to client SLAs and reporting requirements, able to support business development and contribute to a growing team environment.

• Qualified solicitor with experience of personal injury litigation (defender experience preferred; claimant experience considered).
• Experience handling large-loss or multi-track personal injury matters (motor, EL/PL, indemnity).
• Comfortable taking witness statements, reviewing medical evidence and managing case files to court timetables.
• Strong drafting, client-facing skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team and support business development activities.
