Associate — Civil & Commercial Litigation, Montréal

Established national litigation team is seeking a mid-level associate (5–6 years PQE) to join its Montréal office in a hybrid capacity. The role focuses on complex civil and commercial litigation, with substantial exposure to class actions, product liability and high-value contractual disputes.

The successful candidate will work on all stages of litigation — drafting pleadings and motions, managing evidence, participating in negotiations and contributing to strategy for sophisticated clients. There are opportunities to work on related international arbitration matters and to contribute to business development and thought leadership.

• Eligible to practice law in Québec
• 5–6 years of private practice experience in commercial/civil litigation, including class actions
• Strong legal writing, analytical and pleading skills
• Bilingual (French and English), both written and spoken
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across a team; interest or experience in international arbitration is an asset
