Join a well-regarded national practice as an Associate in the Clinical Negligence team. The role is office-based in Belfast (or other regional offices by agreement) and involves acting for defendant healthcare clients on a range of clinical negligence and related healthcare matters.

You will manage your own caseload, support on higher‑value and complex claims, and provide responsive on‑site and remote client support. There will also be opportunities to assist with inquest and healthcare advisory work and to contribute to team business development and training initiatives.

Qualified solicitor with demonstrable clinical negligence or catastrophic personal injury experience (defendant or claimant).
Proven ability to manage a mixed caseload, including complex/high‑value matters, and to meet client SLAs and billing targets.
Good IT and legal research skills; familiarity with case management systems advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, ability to supervise junior fee‑earners and willingness to contribute to business development and training.
Experience of inquest or healthcare advisory work is a positive but not essential.
