A growing commercial disputes team is hiring an Associate with media and information law experience to join its reputation-management and information disputes practice. The role is permanent and full‑time, with flexibility to be based in the firm’s UK offices including Bristol.

The team acts for a wide range of clients on contentious reputation, defamation/privacy, data protection and online-content matters, and provides strategic crisis and incident-response advice. You will handle high‑quality commercial litigation across its lifecycle and advise on urgent applications, takedown/intermediary issues and post‑incident regulatory or follow‑on disputes.

You will work closely with senior lawyers while receiving early client exposure and responsibility appropriate to your level, and contribute to business development and practice growth.

Qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
Solid High Court commercial litigation experience (case management, disclosure, witness evidence, trial preparation and ADR).
Demonstrable experience or strong interest in media & information law (defamation, misuse of private information, breach of confidence, contentious data protection or reputation management).
Experience or aptitude for urgent/injunctive relief and online content/platform liability matters; experience of cyber incident response advantageous.
Strong analytical skills, sound judgement and ability to advise sophisticated clients; comfortable working on high‑pressure, time‑sensitive matters.
