The role also involves defending clients in regulatory and law-enforcement investigations, supporting cross-border regulatory matters, and advising on compliance issues. Responsibilities include analyzing complex financial and regulatory frameworks, managing large-scale discovery and document-review efforts, conducting witness interviews, and supporting internal investigations.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Master of Laws (LL.M.), or foreign equivalent.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
- Approximately 3 years of litigation experience at an international or large firm, with a focus on commercial litigation.
- Track record defending corporate clients in investigations by U.S. federal agencies and UK regulators, and advising on cross-border regulatory issues.
- Experience with complex financial/regulatory analysis, discovery and document-management workflows, review of derivative instruments, and conducting witness interviews.
