Associate — Complex Commercial Litigation (Chicago)

Seeking a mid-level litigation associate to join a national complex commercial litigation team based in Chicago. The group represents corporations, financial institutions, private equity sponsors, and individuals in high-stakes disputes and pursues a trial-ready strategy across forums and industries.

The role offers exposure to business torts, contract and joint-venture disputes, fraud and unfair-competition claims, insolvency and restructuring matters, insurance coverage, trade secrets, and other complex commercial disputes. Collaborate with experienced trial lawyers and cross-office teams on fact development, motions practice, and trial preparation.

• Minimum of 3 years of complex commercial litigation experience (e.g., civil litigation, federal and state court matters)
• Demonstrated experience with briefing, discovery strategy, depositions, and motion practice; trial or arbitration exposure preferred
• Strong legal research and writing skills and comfort working on fast-paced, high-stakes matters
• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission (or eligibility for admission) to the relevant state bar
