Associate — Construction (Non‑contentious) — Edinburgh

Senior-level associate role within a national construction & engineering team focused on non‑contentious, transactional work. The team advises on major energy, infrastructure and built‑environment projects and works closely with disputes colleagues to manage risk and deliver commercially pragmatic solutions.

The role involves acting for a range of national and international clients on significant projects, providing strategic commercial advice, running your own matters and supporting development of the practice through collaboration with colleagues across offices and product groups.

• Qualified solicitor with at least 2 years’ post‑qualification experience in non‑contentious construction law.
• Practical experience on construction/engineering projects, with familiarity with NEC, FIDIC and/or JCT standard forms.
• Strong commercial drafting and advisory skills, excellent client rapport and clear communication.
• Organised, proactive team player with the ability to manage a busy caseload and mentor junior lawyers.
