Associate — Consumer Warranty & Lemon Law, San Francisco

Top-tier national firm is seeking a California-admitted litigation associate to join a consumer warranty and lemon law practice in the San Francisco office. The role focuses on defending warranty and consumer claims for manufacturers and other product-related clients in both state and federal court.

Responsibilities include drafting and responding to pleadings and discovery, preparing and arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions. The team handles regional and national matters and offers exposure to trial work and coordinating roles on multi-party cases.

• Admission to the California bar.
• 1–7 years of litigation experience defending consumer warranty, lemon law, or related product liability claims (or transferable substantive litigation experience).
• Familiarity with Song-Beverly Act, Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, state lemon laws, UCC, and consumer sales practices preferable.
• Experience with discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation; strong writing and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple matters and work independently and in teams.
