The group advises on clearance and licensing strategy, compliance with statutory regimes such as the DMCA, and commercial content deals, as well as litigating infringement and rate-setting matters in federal court and before agencies.
The role is for an associate with a minimum of three years' experience who will handle both counseling and contested matters, contribute to motion practice and discovery, and work collaboratively on high‑profile, cutting‑edge cases (including matters implicating generative AI and other digital technologies).
- J.D. and admission (or eligibility) to practice in relevant U.S. jurisdiction
- Minimum of 3 years of copyright or IP litigation experience
- Experience in federal court practice; drafting motions, discovery and briefs
- Strong writing, research and oral advocacy skills; comfort with technology and licensing issues
