Associate – Corporate (Birmingham / Cardiff / Manchester / Nottingham)

We are seeking a solicitor with strong corporate and transactional experience to join a busy corporate team advising a diverse client base. You will work on corporate finance matters including mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and private equity transactions, taking files from inception through to completion.

The role involves managing a varied caseload to commercial deadlines, drafting and negotiating transaction documentation, and working closely with colleagues across disciplines. You will also be expected to contribute to business development activity through client engagement and thought leadership.

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with solid corporate transactional experience.
• Proven ability drafting and negotiating corporate finance and transaction documents (M&A, joint ventures, PE).
• Strong commercial judgment, organisation and ability to manage competing priorities and client deadlines.
• Good interpersonal and written communication skills; comfortable supporting business development activities.
