Growing Corporate Commercial / Energy practice in Calgary is seeking an associate with transactional experience to join a high‑volume team advising on domestic and cross‑border corporate and energy matters. The role focuses on negotiated mandates, M&A and commercial agreements across oil & gas, power and related infrastructure sectors.

The team acts for a broad range of industry participants at every project phase, handling acquisitions and dispositions, regulatory and operational issues, and complex commercial negotiations. The position offers exposure to national and international transactions and the opportunity to work with specialists across offices.

1–3 years’ PQE in corporate, commercial or energy transactional work (M&A experience preferred)
Strong drafting and negotiating skills on purchase agreements, commercial contracts and ancillary transaction documents
Demonstrated ability to manage deal workflows and collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams
Excellent academic record and strong communication skills
