Top-tier global law firm is seeking a mid-level corporate associate to join its New York derivatives and financial regulatory team. The role focuses on transactional and regulatory work involving commodities, futures and a broad range of derivatives across cash and OTC markets.

Work will include advising financial institutions, investment managers and emerging companies on derivatives documentation and transactions as well as related regulatory matters under Dodd-Frank, the CFTC and the SEC. The group handles complex cross-border matters and novel market structures, including fintech and crypto-related trading.

Approximately 5+ years of post-qualifying experience in derivatives, commodities or futures transactional work
Experience with Dodd-Frank, CFTC and/or SEC regulatory frameworks and related documentation
Strong drafting and deal-execution skills on derivatives and structured products transactions
Comfort working on cross-border matters and with fintech/crypto transaction issues preferred
